Among the key topics of discussion were significant upcoming anniversaries, including the 50th anniversary of defense collaboration set for 2026 and the 60th anniversary of the Currency Interchangeability Agreement in 2027. These milestones underscore the long-standing cooperation between Singapore and Brunei, which both leaders aim to expand further in areas such as energy, food security, supply chain resilience, and cultural exchanges.
During his stay, Lee also engaged with Brunei’s Crown Prince and other senior ministers to explore initiatives focused on strengthening connections between future leaders and the youth of both nations.
